Go to www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com to pick up the latest fares and buy a First Plus Bus Day ticket for an additional £2.30 and you will save double that for the four buses you will have to get from the station to the ground and back.
Remember the station is 2-3 miles out of town on the other side of town from the ground.
Yeovil in within the Group 4 saver zone if there is enough of you that could keep costs down. Call South West Trains on 0845 6000 650 and there could be cheaper tickets available.
The fare from Southend stations is £50.80 return.
It really is in the middle of nowhere so get a taxi to the stadium, alternatively you can catch the 'Hopper' minibus to the bus station in the town centre.
On matchdays the old shuttle service has been scrapped so it's the regular No.1 (Abbey Manor) bus which leaves from the stop outside the Lloyds TSB Bank in the town centre every 15 minutes to travel to the Abbey Manor housing estate adjacent to the ground.
Last bus back into town on a Saturday leaves from Abbey Manor at 18.52pm. For timetables see the First Traveller website.
Finally, a mere mile from the town centre but still on the wrong side of the stadium, you can go to Yeovil Pen Mill from London Paddington but the best fares for the best times are now £52.30 return, not really worth the faster journey, and the station is even more difficult to get to and from the stadium, if you thought that was possible!
