Who knows, there could be a promotion or play-off place decided by the end of the afternoon.

A £16.50 day return which you can pick up on the day from London Marylebone to High Wycombe for the 30 to 59 minute journey depending on the stops, three services an hour, can differ but usually 20, 24/30 and 53 past the hour.

Catch the 20 for the fast one, 12.20 would be good, plenty of time for a pint or two!

Back again 4 to 5 services, usually 04, 18, 26/34 and 57 past the hour, the two fastest you should make after the game is the 17.57 and 18.26.

£28.40 day return from Southend stations.

If you want to book in advance go here: www.chilternrailways.co.uk, however, www.footballgroundguide.co.uk tells us that if you mention you are going to the game at the Marylebone station ticket office on the day you'll save 20% bringing it down to £13.20!

Do not know if it's up to date but worth a try!

If there's between 3 and 9 of you go to www.eastcoast.co.uk/special-offers/3plus/ and save a third.

This is a good half hour walk to the station so you may wish to grab a cab which costs around six quid or get the football special bus, No. 501, that runs from the station to the ground at 13.55 for about £2.50 return. The bus goes back to the station 10 minutes after the final whistle but it does get packed and you may struggle for that 17.57.

Here's a map to Adams Park, many thanks to www.wasps.co.uk:

Remember, it's in a Group Save area that can cut fares in half if four of you can travel together, and any various travelcards will make it even cheaper.
