Harold Wilson, ex-Prime Minister. A left winger, but not for Huddersfield Town

Having used this service last season I can recommend the mixed transport service available on www.megabus.com to at least get to Huddersfield for now 9.

Catch the 8.15 train from St. Pancras, time for a champange breakfast before hand but that would rather destroy the point, and get to East Leicester Pathway around an hour of a half later.

A complete ghost station costing millions of pounds, a fleet of smart modern coaches will be waiting outside to complete your journey to West Yorkshire.

Then go to www.eastcoast.co.uk to get the one return service left at £13 single with the site's exclusive 10% discount, but expensive to get back for any decent times, fares now reaching £61 singles.

Getting out now just as pricey unless you get up early but £19 for 10.10 isn't bad.

Trains leave London London King's Cross or Virgin services from Euston, and if you insist on waiting for the 19.35 at least you can get pissed in the Head of Steam on the platform!

Services:

London King's Cross 07.10 - Huddersfield 10.04 - £13
London St. Pancras 08.15 - Huddersfield 12.35 - £5
London King's Cross 10.10 - Huddersfield 13.03 - £19.15

Huddersfield 17.26 - London Euston 20.28 - £61
Huddersfield 17.57 -
London King's Cross 21.15 - £37.40
Huddersfield 19.35 - London King's Cross 22.47 - £13

2 singles from Southend is now a total of £71.25 for decent times so best to use the offers above with a travelcard.
