It's a mix of two sites to get the cheapest fares at this late stage, the last S24 update before the game.

On the www.fgwbuytickets site you can get services from Waterloo but from Paddington and offering a 10% discount are from £55 single!

Go to www.megabus.co.uk where there's a four services you could make at £19 single to get back only.

The nearest train station to the ground is St James Park, which is on a local line. This is only a short walk away from the ground.

However, most fans will come into the mainline stations of Exeter St Davids or Exeter Central, from which you can either get a local train to St James Park, or head onto the ground by foot, via the town centre, about 30 minutes. (See maps below.)

If on that 17.26, best to leave by 17.00 and break into a trot now and again, you don't want a lot of stoppage time for this one! (See map below.)

London Waterloo 07.10 - Exeter St. Davids 10.42 - £25.00.

London Waterloo 09.20 - Exeter St. Davids 12.42 - £31.00.

London Waterloo 12.06 - Exter St. Davids 14.10 - £32.50

To get back;

Exeter St. Davids 17.26 - London Waterloo 21.04 - £19.00.

Exeter Central 17.30 - London Waterloo 21.04 - £19.00.

Exeter St. Davids 19.26 - London Waterloo 22.58 - £19.00.

To travel from Southend stations - from £77.00 day return, however group save is available for returns to Exeter St Davids, to find out more go to www.daysoutguide.co.uk/groupsave.aspx and check out www.nationalrail.co.uk for the latest fares if you can get four of you together.

As usual the various railcards will keep the cost down.

The blue blob is St. James Park station with the ground next to it.

From St. Davids to the ground, give yourself a 30 minute stroll, a bit of a jog if on the 17.26!
