It was the young Hammers that pipped the Gunners in an all-London Youth Cup Final at Roots Hall Sunday afternoon, after coming from behind to win with an own goal in the 65th minute.
Winners: West Ham, Runners-up: Arsenal, Third: FC Twente, Fourth: Southend United.
West Ham United beat Premier League and London rivals Arsenal 2-1 in the final of the Southend United Under-19 Youth Cup.
The young Guns took the lead through Webb at close range but West Ham equalised when Subuola scored with seconds remaining before half time.
And with 20 minutes of the second half gone good work from substitute Turgott resulted in an Arsenal own goal and the silverware was on it's way to the East side of London.
