Ricky Duncan's side were already two-up at half time with a headed goal from George Artime on the half-hour from a Jamie Stevens free-kick, and eight minutes later a Stevens corner this time led to another good Artime finish, again with his head!

After the break the Gills made more of a game of it but it was the Essex boys who still got the third,
Lyle Della-Verde with a low shot finding the back of the net on 80 minutes.

The home side did grab one back four minutes later through George Humber who struck home well, but this only woke the young Blues up for a storming finish of two goals in the final couple of minutes!

The home keeper Hawkes did well to save from Jack Payne, however Seedy Nije was lurking with intent and made sure the loose ball ended up in the the old onion bag for the fourth, followed by Payne and Nije becoming providers as the Under-18's completed a nap hand for their first win in six games, Della-Verde with another low strike.
