Harding, who was born in Gloucester, started his career with Brighton where he stayed for six seasons before joining Leeds United and then Ipswich.

Dan Harding

Harding gets told the drivetime to Yeovil

Loan deals followed with the Shrimpers, where he enjoyed a great six months scoring the winner against Leeds, and Championship Reading, where he was involed in their play-off semi-final against Burnley.

With the need for a left back so urgent S24 and many fans have been surprised there has been no interest in Dan other than a 'we think his wages would be too high' comment from Brushy.

As commented on before; the guy's out of work, wages can be negotiated, a deal worked out if a team from the Championship shows interest. We were told how well he was treated by the the Blues management during his mother's illness.

A trail, of course, is not permenant, and we have gazumped Yeovil before, but this still seems a missed opportunity whatever the club tells us.
