The 20-year-old Watford forward has signed a three-year contract at the Galpharm Stadium and joined his new clubmates on the training ground for the first time which included former Blue centre-half Peter Clarke.

Should be fun at the opening fixture on August 8 when Southend open their League One season against the West Yorkshire club.

Theo decides it's Tetley's over Arkells

Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton made no attempt to hide his anger when events took Theo north: "We seem to have hit a problem which we are very upset about. We agreed a deal with the club and player but there are shenanigans going on that we have warned certain people about. This is a classic example of agents and greed. It's been long drawn-out and more frustrating than anything."

Robinson meanwhile told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner the usual new signing stuff: "Having players like Lionel Ainsworth, (played with Theo at Hereford), and Peter Clarke around has influenced my decision to come here very strongly, because I have played with them and they know the quality they possess. Having seen some of the other Huddersfield players in the game with Southend last season I know we have a great squad here, and I think the new additions mean we have a real chance to push into the league above.

Theo certainly believes he's good enough for a higher level: "Personally, I believe I am good enough to play in the Championship but I never got the chance I thought I should have at Watford. Huddersfield is a big club with a genuine ambition to play in that division, which is where I want to be. I want to play regularly and I believe that the club can progress to the Championship, which is something I want to be a part of. The main thing Lee Clark wants from me is goals! I am the same as any striker - I want to score goals as well as working on all the other aspects of my game. I think my strengths are running in behind defences and running at defenders - that's what I love to do.

No doubt about that but let's hope we see the dark side of Theo's game at the Hall, the greed and missed chances!
