Leicester City 1 Swindon Town 1

Andy King scored an 86th minute equaliser as leaders Leicester left it late to preserve their long unbeaten run.

Swindon took the lead against the run of play in the 38th minute, when Billy Paynter picked out Simon Cross brilliantly, and he beat keeper David Martin at the second time of asking.

It looked like the Robins would hold on for a vital three points, but King diverted Matt Oakley's pass into the bottom corner to earn the Foxes a draw.

Leicester have now gone 18 games unbeaten in the league, a run stretching back to October.

Milton Keynes Dons 3 Hartlepool United 1

Ali Gerba scored twice as MK Dons came from behind to beat Hartlepool at Stadium MK, and put seven points between them and third-placed Peterborough.

The game burst into life ten minutes before half-time when Rune Lange put the visitors in front with a well taken goal, but the free-scoring Dons hit back just a minute later through Gerba.

Hartlepool came into the game with a string of injury problems, but looked to be holding on for a point until Dons skipper Dean Lewington bundled in Jemal Johnson's cross with five minutes left.

And in the third minute of injury time Gerba grabbed his second after a knock on from substitute Tore Andre Flo.

Peterborough United 1 Yeovil Town 3

Yeovil produced a superb away performance to inflict a first home defeat on promotion chasing Peterborough in 13 games.

After dominating possession in the early stages, Yeovil stunned the home side with a double salvo just past the half-hour mark.

First Paul Warne headed in Aaron Brown's inswinging corner and two minutes later Peterborough were again caught out by a set piece as Brown latched onto Andrew Welsh's free-kick and fired home.

United hit back on 56 minutes when George Boyd's clever back-heel set up Aaron McLean, who calmly beat keeper Josh Wagenaar, but a 20-yard strike from Shaun MacDonald restored Yeovil's two-goal lead and ensured they went home with the points.

Scunthorpe United 0 Bristol Rovers 2

Scunthorpe's promotion hopes suffered a blow as they slipped to a surprise home defeat against Bristol Rovers.

Despite making a bright start, the hosts fell behind in the 21st minute when Darryl Duffy found the net with a low shot from the edge of the area.

And ten minutes later Jo Kuffour doubled the visitors' lead, firing into the bottom corner from close range.

Scunthorpe piled on the pressure in the second half, but missed their best chance to get back into the game when Paul Hayes' tame penalty was easily kept out by Steve Phillips.

Oldham Athletic 2 Northampton Town 1

Dean Windass followed up last week's goalkeeping heroics with his first goal for Oldham as they beat Northampton at Boundary Park.

Oldham started brightly and took the lead on six minutes when Reuben Hazell headed home Kevin Maher's free-kick.

The second half followed the same pattern and after a period of sustained pressure, Windass looked to have put the game beyond the Cobblers when he headed in a Maher corner.

But Northampton fought back and Adebayo Akinfenwa gave them hope with a close range header on 67 minutes.

Stockport County 2 Millwall 2

Izale McLeod broke his goal scoring drought with a double, but Stockport fought back to claim a point and dent Millwall's play-off hopes.

After defeats to fellow promotion chasers Scunthorpe and Leeds, Millwall needed to win and made a strong start, with McLeod netting his first goal in 17 games on 16 minutes.

Five minutes after the break McLeod grabbed his second from the penalty spot, but the game turned when David Martin was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence.

Matty McNeil fired in from close range to put Stockport back in the game on 78 minutes, and four minutes later Oli Johnson completed the comeback with a fine long range effort.

Huddersfield Town 1 Leeds United 0 (kick-off 12 noon)

A first-half goal from Nathan Clarke was enough to help Huddersfield see off Leeds in Saturday's League One match.

Clarke rose unmarked to nod home Gary Roberts' corner after 16 minutes to grab his third of the season.

Leeds battled back immediately with lively winger Andy Robinson forcing Alex Smithies into a fingertip save.

The visitors dominated the second half as Robert Snodgrass' drive was well-saved and skipper Richard Naylor headed against the post in the final minutes.

Southend United 2 Tranmere Rovers 1

Kevin Betsy scored in the third minute of stoppage time to earn Southend a deserved win over Tranmere.

Walsall 2 Colchester United 0

Michael Ricketts was the star of the show as Walsall beat Colchester at the Bescot stadium.

The former England striker fired in his 12th of the season to put Walsall in front on 16 minutes.

Just before half-time Troy Deeney made it two as he headed in Ricketts' cross, and Walsall rarely looked troubled in the second half as they held on for the win.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0 Carlisle United 2

Brighton's woes at the Withdean Stadium continued as they slipped to a sixth defeat in seven home games and also into the relegation zone.

After a scrappy opening, Carlisle stunned the Seagulls with two goals in three minutes.

On 24 minutes Lewis Neal set up Joe Anyinsah to fire into the bottom corner, and three minutes later Richard Keogh grabbed Carlisle's second from inside the six-yard box.

It was a dismal performance by the Seagulls, who failed to muster a single shot on target as Carlisle held on comfortably for their first win in five matches.

Leyton Orient 1 Crewe Alexandra 0

An early goal from Stephen Purches was enough to settle a scrappy relegation six-pointer at the Brisbane Road.

Both teams started the day in the relegation zone, but Purches settled Orient's nerves on ten minutes when he beat John Ruddy with a low shot from deep inside the area.

Crewe created plenty of chances, but were thwarted by a combination of wayward finishing and some excellent saves from Orient keeper Jamie Jones.

The home side also had chances to seal the win, but had to settle for a single goal and a crucial three points.

Cheltenham Town 2 Hereford United 3

A second half double from Sam Hewson saw Hereford come from behind to earn a priceless win in the battle of the bottom two at Whaddon Road.

Hereford had managed just five goals away all season, but went in front on 13 minutes when Fabian Brandy netted from close range.

On the stroke of half-time Cheltenham's constant pressure paid off as Lloyd Owusu equalised, and the same player headed the home side in front on 55 minutes.

But Hewson brought Hereford level with a superb long-range strike, and in the 80th minute Richard Rose teed up the midfielder to fire in his second. In a frantic final few minutes, Cheltenham defender Lee Ridley was sent off for dissent.
