Only Leeds & Leicester above Southend in Agents Fees League Table

Southend United's spending was in 3rd place behind Leeds United and Leicester City following the release of today's bi-annual Football League report.

The club spent £38,620 on agents payments, accounting for 17 new registrations or transfers, 5 updated contracts and 14 loans.

Leeds spent £346,000, Leicester £121,700, these two clubs amounting for 63% of the League One total of £740,160.

10 clubs did not pay for the full services of a licensed agent; Cheltenham Town, Crewe Alexandra, Hartlepool United, Hereford United, Millwall, Northampton Town, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Swindon Town and Tranmere Rovers.
