Mad Millers bid farewell to Ronnie Moore

Moore: Blasted his side
Ronnie Moore joins the long list of sacked League Two managers this season

The useless sod, after a winless run of 'five' games, including a 5-0 defeat to runaway leaders Chesterfield at the weekend, Rotherham have dropped out of the top three and are still in the play-off positions five points off the pace of the automatics, but have still removed former Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore after a year and a half in charge!

Blimey, there's a few of us that would like our club's to be in that position, and it's only 10 months since he took the Millers to the League two play-off final at Wembley that they narrowly lost 3-2 to Dagenham & Redbridge, unlucky in a five-goal thriller in the sun.

This was Moore's second spell managing the South Yorkshire club after previously being in charge of the Millers between 1997 and 2005, leading them to back-to-back promotions from the old Division Three to Division One.
Andy Liddle, Paul Warne and Andy Dibble are all expected to help out in running first team affairs for Friday's game at Lincoln.

And the following answers that Rotherham fan, Mr. er, Vlad Dracula, gave back in October, just before we beat them 2-1 at the Don Valley stadium in Sheffield.

What's your manager like and will he still be there at the end of the season?

Our manager (former Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore) is a club legend and he will still be here next season whether we gain promotion or not.

Are you happy with your chairman/backroom staff?

Yes. The chairmen is ambitious and doesn't seem to be the type to harshly sack managers.

Oh well, we probably thought the same about Tilly, though not so trusting of Uncle Ron!
