It's Daggers in League One after they beat the Millers 3-2

Rotherham United 2 Dagenham & Redbridge 3
(Played Sunday, May 30th, 2010; attendance 32,054)

A cracking game means Southend will be taking the longer trip to Rotherham in League Two during the new 2010/11 season after they lost 3-2 to Dagenham and Redbridge in a cracking fourth tier play-off final at Wembley.

So congrats to manager John Still and to Blues supporting striker Paul Benson and all the team, even if the Shrimpers travelling budget has just increased!

Three times the London club took the lead and eventually they saw off their South Yorkshire rivals.

Only a minute after Paul Benson fine strike, Ryan Taylor equalised with a near-post header.

Danny Green restored the Daggers advantage with a low, hard shot just after half-time but Taylor, who had'nt scored all season, was left unmarked 14 yards out to make it 2-2.

On 69 minutes it was all set up for Barbados international Jon Nurse to put Dagenham & Redbridge into League One when his deflected strike found the back of the net.

Only 14 years Daggers were playing in the Isthiam League Premier, a fantastic journey through the fottball league pyramid.
