Charles Ademeno: Quite a career around the non-league until joining  the Dons

Former Shrimpers striker Charles Adesola O. O. Ademeno, a fine name if ever there was one, could face his ex-club next season after putting pen to paper for League Two newcomers AFC Wimbledon.

Released by Grimsby Town, accepted by Charles even though he was only one season into a two-year deal, he's been around the young lad since leaving the Southend youth ranks and is one one of the few players that have actually left Crawley Town, though there seems to be some history on that one!

He didn't leave Blue Square Premier side Grimsby on the best of terms with Mariners chairman John Fenty saying that the club should have done their homework before signing Ademeno for £10,000 the previous summer.

Fenty also mentioned that he thought former club Crawley had done a 'number' on him following Ademeno's injury plagued season that saw him score two goals in seven starts.

Oh dear!

But good luck to Charles who finds himself back in the League's bottom tier with the Dons, and let's hope the small but perfectly formed forward sticks around with this team longer than his recent past suggests he will!
