Potential for injury as first team squad players turn out in Essex Senior Cup

Tilly says he's not worried who we can't play on loan in the F.A. Cup first round against AFC Telford United on Saturday, as we have a big enough squad.

Federici and Harding are the only two confirmed at the moment, a setback to Harding fans for a permanent signing but hopefully not a continued loan agreement past January.

However if the others join him possibily five of tonights team to play Ryman Division One North side Redbridge in the third round of the Essex Senior Cup could be involved in first team action in only five days time. (Though Blues aren't playing keepers Mildenhall or Joyce.)

Certainly Sankofa and McCormack may have most to risk, though after another poor Francis left back performance is Johnny Herd the player we should be most worried about?

Dean Austin's side are, of course, the holders after beating Chelmsford City 1-0 in last years final and with the side he's putting out a place in the fourth round draw this time around should be obtained.

Kick-Off 19.45, admission 3 for adults and 1 concessions.

TLG will be there with a full report after the game.

Southend United: Masters, Sankofa, Whittikar, Reynolds, Herd, Forshaw, McCormack, Grant, Scannell, Walker, Furlong.

Subs; Henry, Rieck, Dennis, Adeyinka.
