And we will be handing a trail to Essex boy and former Shrimper youth Calum Butcher who plays at centre-back.
He even had a go with the young Ipswich side before joing Premiership Spurs where he failed to play in the first team but was on the bench when the North London club faced Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Cup in February 2009, a game that finished 1-1.
Calum then went on loan to Barnet in the same year, where he made four appearances over the 2009/10 season.
Getting another chance will be Westcliff boy the 18-year-old central defender George Artemi, who scored for the reserve in the Essex Senior Cup win at Grays, and has experience with both Rushden & Diamonds and Great Wakering Rovers while turning out a couple of times for Ricky Duncan's Under-18's.
First team squad members who should see some action before Friday's Rooots Hall encounter with Bradford City are Rhys Evans in goal as well as midfielder Adam Bouzid, wideboy Louie Soares, and strikers Harry Crawford and Kyle Asante.
Could be some legs in young Calum if he performs over the rest of the season, two more Blues Two's matches before the end of term.
