Blues Two's face fixture pile-up

Not that we would have known about the Farmers which was scheduled for this Wednesday evening as nobody told us!

Miguel Comminges is probably waiting in Colchester with his boots to get some game time!

The Watford match next Tuesday, January 18th, already postponed twice, first due to playing Barking in the Essex Senior Cup, blimey were in the last 8 now, and second due to the pre-Christmas weather, throw in a ground change and this match is ill-fated indeed!

This time it's due to a Youth Cup fixture being played by the hornets on the night, the obvious reason why we are not at the Farmers as the Shrimpers are taking on Coventry City in the FA Youth Cup fourth round at Roots Hall this very evening.

So when Graham Coughlan's boys will get all these called off games played we will have to wait and see; the last time they turned out in the league, the Essex Senior Cup has at least started up again, was a 1-0 surprise win over ColU back on Tuesday, October 19th, really, and the next time we may play is Tuesday January 25th at Roots Hall against Oxford United, the league leaders no less; kick-off 14.00.

Of course we could do what Tilly did, and just not play them, or use youth game results, that will save the season going into July!

Here's the latest fixture list, which still has us playing the Farmers tonight!:

But at least we're not alone, look at the latest table, hardly anyone's played a game anyway, though go Oxford!

1 Oxford United 7 3 2 2 4 11
2 Colchester United 5 3 0 2 0 9
3 Watford 4 2 1 1 1 7
4 Stevenage 5 2 1 2 0 7
5 Luton Town 4 2 0 2 0 6
6 Southend United 5 1 2 2 -2 5
7 Ipswich Town 6 1 2 3 -3 5
