As the mens first team take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the cup, the ladies first team will be taking on Hutton in the league cup the following day.

Southend United Ladies are set to take on league opponents Hutton FC in the second round of the league cup on Sunday 4th January 2009 on home soil.
