Southend United Ladies troubles carried on this week as they lost 6 - 0 at the hands of Witham Town.
The Blues played some good football and many on the day felt they were the better team but opportunities were few and far between and Witham were in the end handed the luck of the draw.
The Blues will now be looking to bounce back as they take on fellow league 2 strugglers Saffron Walden Town B next Sunday at Eastwoodbury Lane. Their next opponents lying bottom of the table.
