Yeovil confirm interest in Walker, clubs unable to agree deal

Though Yeovil boss Slade is very interested in bringing back Blues forward Walker, he was previously on loan with the Glovers before joining Southend, it would appear unlikely at present that he will be arriving at Huish Park in the near future.

This morning's Western Daily Press states that Slade tried to bring in Walker on loan in advance of yesterday's match against Leicester City. However, the two clubs were unable to agree a deal.

There's no word on whether the transfer will take place, Walker has dropped down the Shrimper striker list in recent weeks, although with Yeovil travelling to South East Essex this weekend, nothing was likely to happen this week anyway.

With Gary Roberts now out for 4-6 weeks with ankle ligament damage, Slade's list of priorities may need to be rewritten after last night's game.
