Altogether now; USA, USA, USA!!!!!!

The Shrimpers have their wideboy and their third signing of the close season!

American born Jemal Johnson has signed for Southend United on a free transfer and agreed a 12-month deal.

He made 11 appearances for Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Sofia, but has played for both Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers in his time, ending up at MK Dons in 2007.

He left the Franchise in January of this year after turning out 96 times and grabbing 12 goals.

In his time in sunny Bucks he picked up a JPT and League Two Championship medal.

Come on Luggy, get a move on, where's that striker?!
