Barnard: 'I'm sure I will be OK to soon be training again'

17 goal top scorer Lee Barnard was substituted at Huddersfield last Saturday with what turned out to be a calf injury, but expects to be back in training this week and fit to start the League One match with the Chairboys at Roots Hall Saturday afternoon.

Lee told the Echo: "It's settled down now and it's nothing too serious, so I'm sure I will be OK to soon be training again. My calf tightened up during the game at Huddersfield and I think it was maybe a reaction to playing again after the slight break we've had. It was feeling stiff during the second half which is why I came off, mainly as a precaution. But it's fine again now."
