After the 5-0 win at Isthmian League Division One North side Great Wakering Rovers a few words caught from the Twittersphere.
From striker Barry Corr:
'Any Sufc fans at the game? I liked Darren Currie, you can see his quality, would like him to sign as his delivery would be great 4 me.'
And after a few words from the faithful that Currie might be a little long in the tooth at 36: '
'Funny how football opinions differ, a lot not havin Currie. I thought best player on pitch, would work great with Sean & would get me more goals.'
I don't know, only thinking about one's self, then again at least there's no love-in with Jedi Blair again after Baz had a go about his car, for now!
'Another good performance from the boys and another wonder goal from the right back.....wow'

'(Ricketts) Is hungry to play and said he wouldn't be here on trial if he wasn't keen to sign.'
'Sturrock said he would speak to Ricketts' agent and see what figures were mentioned. Said he got train down from Coventry just to play.'
'Also spoke to Ryan Leonard. He's desperate to join. Sturrock signed him before for Plymouth youth team and says he remains a fan of his.'

Rohan wants to play football and has shown his commitment by coming down on the train from Coventry to play in a trialist game and then again tonight. He isn't at full match sharpness yet so there is more to come but he's hungry to play and he did very well tonight.”
Eight goals in 48 hours and none against; yes, we all appreciate the opposition, but it's a lot better than this time last year!
