Wilson: 'Morrison is quite happy with everything'
Sadly with the Walsall game off loanee centre half Sean Morrison will not play his last game in a Southend shirt.
However, Blues boss Steve Tilson was upset that the Swindon defender went back to his parent club stating: "I just hope he plays when he goes back there because that's what he wants to do."
Well, Robins manager Danny Wilson has hit back talking to the local paper who insist we are: 'teetering on financial collapse'.
Charming.
Anyway, Wilson told www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk: "We feel that the situation that we wanted to happen has benefited everybody. Sean got games, he helped Southend but it also helped us as well in match-fitness terms. He's played his games, they wanted to extend him but we didn't feel that it was right at this time to do so. We want him back in the fold and want him back in training with us."
Morrison: No problem going back to Swindon
The Swindon boss insisted he had spoken to the player about his return to the County Ground.
Wilson continued: "I have spoken to him about it and there was no problem at all. He was quite happy with everything. I suppose it makes him feel wanted in a little way. We were adamant that we wanted it for a purpose and not to signal intent that he was going to go anywhere. He needed games, and that was it."
