Sturrock: 'We have to just put that home form to bed'
Well, well, well, we didn't see that one coming, two previous away wins or not, this was second placed Rotherham, in an athletic's stadium, in Sheffield.
I really would have taken a point, but hey, I'll take three, as would a very happy Blues boss Paul Sturrock, and don't be in any doubt, we deserved it.
Sturrock told BBC Essex: "I'm pleased for every one of the players that played today and the squad of players because it's been difficult this year. It's been such a rollercoaster; we've been up and down, one week elated, the next week disappointed, we have to just put that home form to bed. Performances like today's away from home, if we can take into our home games regularly we're going to be shooting up this league."
Starting next Friday at home to Bury would be a help.
Anyway, Luggy couldn't praise his team high enough, especially S24's man-of-the-match for a second week running, one Ryan Hall, starting wide right, and the two strikers which include top scorer Barry Corr, and his own son, young Blair.
He continued: "It was a very good all-round performance. It was a bit like the Alamo in the second half, but it was not as bad as we thought it would be. We did catch them on the break several times. I thought my front two did very, very well and worked their tails off and Ryan Hall had an outstanding game. He has goals in him and he makes goals and his use of the ball and his crossing was different class. He seems more confident on the right than he does on the left, but everybody had a solid performance and it will be a very happy bus going home."
Moore: 'We can't use the wind as an excuse'

Moore told www.themillers.co.uk: "When we concede two sloppy goals within 15 minutes it just gave us a mountain to climb. We haven't performed well today and I am finding it hard to pick someone out who has done well. We got it back to 2-1 and gave ourselves a chance but we didn't have the right tempo to come back."
There was no doubt the strong wind, which the Shrimpers decided to go with played a major factor, one that the away side took advantage better than the home one, and they won the toss, a fact acknowledged by Moore on BBC Radio Sheffield.
He said: "I find it hard to pick someone out who has done well. The tempo just wasn't there. We just weren't at the races. We can't use the wind as an excuse because they had to deal with it as well."
