Still: 'Now people have become more confident'
Let's be in no doubt, the Daggers dominated the early stages, and a lot of the later stuff as well, and could have had three by half-time, but in fact found themselves a goal down as Michael Timlin blasted into the top corner with 37 minutes gone.
But the visitors continued to press and were eventually rewarded when Brian Woodall's close-range strike in the 87th minute drew them level.
Still told the PA: "It was a good result and a decent performance that was worthy of three points. It was a strong performance but we now have to keep turning out these performances. We are not doing anything differently and we always train in the same way. The difference is in the confidence. Four weeks ago were were playing long ball, but now people have become more confident and I really feel for the players for the way they have played in the last few games. Some of the younger, less experienced players found it hard earlier in the season but they are now coping well. I really feel that people are seeing the real Dagenham now."
No arguments about the result, a point won for the home side in the end, and keeps us safely in the top three, however, with Swindon only three points behind, we must improve against Port Vale on Saturday, again at Roots Hall where we have yet to win in our last five games at the home of football!
