Barry Corr is pushing to start as Southend welcome managerless Millwall to Roots Hall in the third round of the FA Cup.

The striker was brought off the bench after just 40 minutes of the New Year's Day clash at home to Portsmouth as part of a tactical substitution by boss Phil Brown.

And Corr duly rewarded the decision with an impressive display as he provided both assists for a Ryan Leonard brace to ensure Southend came from behind to triumph 2-1.

Brown is not expected to have any new injury or suspension concerns to contend with but long-term absentee Julian Bennett (knee) remains sidelined.

Millwall will check on Paul Robinson and Liam Trotter.

Defender Robinson was missing from the side beaten 3-1 by Leicester in midweek due to an ankle knock and midfielder Trotter sat out with a knee injury.

Striker John Marquis has returned from his loan spell with Torquay but he has a groin injury, while on-loan midfielder Guy Moussi has gone back to Nottingham Forest.

The tie sees Lions caretaker boss Neil Harris return to the club where he finished his playing career last season.
