On that occassion Blues ran out 2-1 winners thanks to a 'golden goal' from Leo Roget and headed into their first ever area final, where Brentford can out victoriours, 4-2 on aggregate.

United of course reached the same stage last season en route to the final, beating Queens Park Rangers, 4-0, in the area semi-final before ousting out Colchester United, 4-3 on aggregate.

Ironically, United's last defeat, other than last season's final, saw a 6-1 reverse at the County Ground against the Robins in October 2002.

The two side's last met in last season's Carling Cup at Roots Hall, a brace from Tommy Mooney earning Town a 3-2 victory.
