According to local website www.longpier.com Southend United chairman Ron Martin will be sending out a statement to fans ahead of Saturday's opening League One game against Peterborough.
It is believed he will outline his thoughts and plans in a lengthy email and club website article in the next 48 hours.
If this turns out to be true all Blues fans will look forward to hear what he has to say.
It's a shame we have had to wait until two days before the team takes the field on Saturday but in reality Ron had no choice.
The postponement of the team photo became the last straw for many supporters, for it's embarrassment factor if nothing else, and I hope Mr. Martin speaks in his usual straightforward manner.
