Shrimpers stars doubtful for Orient cup tie

A hamstring pull for Anthony Grant
Blues boss Paul Sturrock was probably going to make changes for the Carling Cup First Round tie with Leyton Orient anyway, but a couple look as if they will be forced on him with the game only three days away on Tuesday evening at Roots Hall.
BBC Essex reported that midfielder Anthony Grant had pulled a hamstring after the Shrimpers opening day League Two 1-0 victory over the Bulls, while Echoman tweeted that Shrimpers skipper and influential centre-back Chris Barker was also a doubt but gave no more info on the possible injury.
If confirmed this may see Bilel Moshni back in central defence while Liam Dickinson gets a full game up front, or, if Luggy decides Bilel needs a rest, Peter Gilbert could fit in at left-back with Luke Prosser going in the middle. We would expect Ryan Leonard to get a game for Sean Clohessy.
In the middle Lee sawyer would be a more than capable replacement for Granty, but dare Luggy give a start to the loanee from Crystal Palace, Alassane N'Diaye?
Meanwhile, the O's lost their first League One match of the new season 1-0 at Walsall through a goal by their former player Adam Chambers! (Report - www.teamtalk.com)
