Peggy drops down a tier to play for the Saints
Blue Square South club St Albans City have already given striker Craig calver a go this term and have now signed Mbive `Peggy` Lokando from Blue Square Premier side Crawley Town.
Peggy started his career at the famous Arsenal youth team academy, where present loan signing Sanchez Watt is from, before signing for the Shrimpers in July 2007.
He made his debut for Southend in the Carling Cup against Watford in August 2007 before bring loaned out to Dagenham & Redbridge a month later.
High hopes were held for Peggy but sadly he failed to make a League appearance and was sent out to Oxford United for a trail.
He eventually started playing for Leyton in the Ryman League Division One North before joining Crawley in November 2009.
Peggy is an international for the DR Congo no less.
