Robson-Kanu to stay?

How time flies!

This weekends match with Crewe is down to be Hal's last with the 19-year old returning to Reading.

However, Tilly wants him to stay. Speaking to www.southendunited.co.uk Tilly said: "I would like Hal to be here beyond Saturday's match and I've already spoken to him about the situation. I will speak to him again but the ball is in his court really and hopefully he will agree to stay for however long he wants. He gives us another option going forward and we've already seen what a good player he is."

Personally I think he was unlucky to be dropped to the bench against Hereford, the England Under-19 forward is a fine prospect and his goal at Walsall was a terrific strike.

With Reading starting well in the Championship, a 6-0 win on Saturday, the prospects of first team football there are limited.

TLG is certain the majority of Shrimpers would love him to stay.
