M'voto: 'Up to Tilly if he wants me back quickly or if I've got more time'

M'Voto: 'My hip did feel a little bit stiff'

For all the news of Barney's possible exit centre-half Jean-Yves M'Voto, on loan from the Premiership Black Cats, will hopefully still be with us until May, and having been out of first team action since September with a hip problem it was great to see him back for the reserves at Ipswich Wednesday afternoon.

It might have only been the first 45 minutes but it was a very happy Frenchman afterwards.

M'Voto told the Echo: "It had been very frustrating being out injured so I'm glad to be back again. My hip did feel a little bit stiff, which you would expect, but I've come through it OK and now it's up to the coach what happens next. We will just have to wait and see what happens this week now and if he wants me back quickly or if I've got more time."

Time is one thing Blues boss Steve Tilson hasn't got with two vital Roots Hall fixtures coming up but it's important we have a fully fit M'Voto back in the team, Hungarian centre backs from Lincoln on the way or not, so maybe it's the bench against Wycombe and another week's training before the Swindon game on January 30.
