Sturrock: Happy with performance

Sturrock: '(Dons) also have excellent support behind them so we’re in for a tough test'

So Blues boss Paul Sturrock has been a busy Luggy and hopes to follow Benyon with more signings, but the wages have to come from somewhere, does this mean that presently suspended Bilel Mohsni's future is away from Roots Hall?

Luggy would give nothing away telling www.echo-news.co.uk: "We have irons in the fire there and there’s also some water to go under the bridge. It’s also something which will be discussed during our footballing management meeting."

Doesn't sound promising for fans of our favourite French Tunisian, with reports of a League two club 'alerted', to what, his availabilty?

In the meantime though Luggy has enough problems trying to get his side out of a six match mini-rut without a win, including four successive defeats.

Signs were promising against the Shots before the lights went out, though we surely can't get a ref who will give us so many decisions, Mr. Ward was truly awful, hang on, we've got Trevel Kettle at AFC Wimbledon Saturday! Happy New Years' Eve!

Sturrock said: "First up is AFC Wimbledon and they started the season very well indeed. That showed what they’re capable of producing but they’ve hit a bit of a blip in the last few weeks. They will be fired up to do well against us and have a couple of players coming back who could make a difference to them. I’ve been watch to watch them play and they also have excellent support behind them so we’re in for a tough test. It will be the same against Dagenham too because they’re fighting for their lives."

going to be a couple of bruising games.
