Hal Robson-Kanu back to play on the wing

He's back........and secured on a one month loan deal from Reading in time to play in Friday evenings match against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Though he scored three goals in as many games operating as a centre-forward, his equaliser agaibst Swansea last season was one of the best headed goals I've seen at Roots Hall, Tilly sees the 19 year old as a wide player, especially with injury concerns to Walker and Scannell.

The Blues boss, speaking to Blues World, said: "Hal can play on the left-hand side and we don't have anyone who can play on the left-hand side.  Charles Ademeno had to do a job for us on Saturday and he worked really well for the team but he isn't a permanent solution."

Talking about young Hal Tilly continued: "He is a fantastic lad, never gives me any problems, and is always willing to work for the team.  Last year he had a few injuries which was a shame for him and us because he did really well.  Hopefully he can rekindle that form as he scored three goals in a short amount of time."

As well as the Swanny goal he opened the scoring up at Huddersfield with a shot that maybe should have been kept out by the opposing keeper, however there was nothing fortunate about his opener against Notts. Forest which was a superb strike.  Welcome back Hal, who has been given the No. 17 shirt, and good luck.
