Bilel Mohsni up for grabs?: Blackpool boss Ian Holloway still hopes to add to squad after signing

Holloway: Still fuming over fine

Tangerine manager Ian Holloway deciding on whether to increase his bid for Bilel Mohsni

Be scared, be very scared.

While it looks as if we may get away with Anthony Grant but no new striker, not yet anyway, Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has told a press conference that his signing of midfielder Andy Reid from Sunderland until the end of the season, I'm sure Reid may have played against us when the former Tottenham man was at Charlton, just can't place him though, will not be the end of his activity for the day.

He told the waiting media this afternoon, ahead of their vital clash with West Ham Tuesday evening, which will celebrate Stanley Matthews on the day the England winger would have been 96, that he still hopes to add to his squad on the back of Reid's arrival with 'work continuing behind the scenes' for the remaining hours until the deadline.

Bilel would fill the spot left by central defender Dekel Keinan who joined Cardiff earlier this month.

It also means Holloway has a ready made replacement for Charlie Adam who could well be on his way to Liverpool for £8m, but the smart money is on him staying at Bloomfield Road.

However, he has also added that a striker remains a prority; oh well, Bilel ticks that box as well with three goals in three games!

Anyway, there would still be funds to make an increased bid, if the original Sky Sports story is correct, which was for a potential pot of £250k up to £600,000!

Now that's a lot of noughts and hard to believe Shrimpers supremo Ron Martin would turn down the first offer, but if there's any more about we'll have it, as long as he's loaned back to us until May!

It's a mad, mad, world out there.

I'm afraid the transfer window remains open until 23.00 so count the hours; damn it, count the minutes.
