Mohsni: 'I've played everywhere in my career'

Well he did warn us!

The Shrimpers centre-back Bilel Mohsni has scored three goals in United's last two games against Bury and Macclesfield Town in front of the Roots Hall faithful.

Having only made 13 league appearances since his summer signing, spotted playing in the Paris suburbs, he's now grabbed four goals in total, and Southend manager Paul Sturrock knows he's on to a winner.

Southend United's stand-in striker Bilel Mohsni says he'll play in any position Blues boss Paul Sturrock wants him to play, as long as he picks him!

Sturrock told BBC Essex after the Silkmen massacre: "He's that kind of exciting, talented player that he can play in most positions. You can see how versatile he is as a player. I was really pleased for him."

And now the 6ft 3in French Tunisian has a taste for it, he wants more, but then again that might not be the only position he can turn his hand to!

Bilel himself to the local radio station: "I'm a defender, but because I'm good in the air and tall, I can work as a striker. I've played everywhere in my career, I just love playing. I play everywhere on the pitch wherever the gaffer wants me. If the gaffer wants, I play striker. If the gaffer wants, I play centre back. If he wants me to play keeper, I play keeper."

Here's what Bilel had to say after his stoppage time Bury equaliser:
