Baz after Burton: 'It's a nice game to play in so you can say farewell to the fans for the summer'

Corr: Headed home
Corr: 'In many ways it was a dour way to end our season at home'

Top scorer Barry Corr, and S24 man-of-the-match against the Brewers, might have headed home his 21st goal of the campaign froma Ryan Hall corner, on Saturday, again, but he felt he should have grabbed the winner late on.

Corr told Blues World: "I had a couple of goes at it at the end and I'm upset I didn't score to be honest. In many ways it was a dour way to end our season at home but we've definitely made progress this year."

Once again though the injury-prone striker, who has played far more matches than he usually does luckily for us, picked up another problem, this one with his knee, that might have led him to missing the match.

Corr concluded: "I was really struggling in training with the injury on Friday but I didn't want to miss out on the last home game of the season. It's always a nice one to play in because you get to say farewell to the fans for the summer but my knee is quite sore again now so I will have to ice it and hopefully it will all be OK by the time we go to Wycombe next weekend."

And the travelling faithful will be there to salute you and the rest of the lads for a job well done for the season.
