Premeirship Bolton Wanderers won their penultimate pre-season match 3-0 against our opening npower League Two opposition Hereford United at Edgar Street last Monday evening in their manager Jamie Pitman's testimonial match in fornt of 2,250 spectators.
 
Chris Eagles opened the scoring for Owen Coyle's side after 15 minutes before fellow summer signing Darren Pratley added a second on the hour mark.
 
Moments later Eagles turned provider to set up veteran Kevin Davies to complete a comfortable success for the Trotters.
 
Bulls boss Pitman said after the game: "We competed well. But then their quality shone through. We showed some great quality. The lads have done exactly what we asked them to do. It's going to be a tough one (season). It's another transition year for us. We've still got a lot to make up and a lot of hard work ahead of us."
 
How close the Hereford line-up below will be to their starting eleven at Roots Hall on Saturday afternoon we will wait and see.
