Jonathon Hunt: Had more hair when he played as a Blue
Jonathon Hunt is still on the books of Ryman League Premier Division club AFC Hornchurch at the ripe old age of 39.
Hunt started his career at Barnet and was part of team that won promotion from the old Division Three in 1993.
The manager of the North London club was our old friend Barry Fry who proceeded to join the Shrimpers and take half his old team with him including Jonathan.
When Baz did his Judas act and went of to Brummie land he did the same again but at least coughed up £500,000 for Hunt this time around.
The London born midfielder left Birmingham to join Derby in 1997 for the same fee.
Hunt later played for Sheffield United, Ipswich, Cambridge United and MK Dons before joining St. Albans City and then Harrow Borough.
Tommy Black; not a great success at Roots Hall
Another ex-Shrimper applying his trade at the Urchins was wideboy Tommy Black joined the Bees last season.
He made 5 league appearances for the Bees before being released.
Tommy joined Southend from Crystal Palace in 2007 and made 39 league appearances for us scoring twice.
