Blimey, this one's a mess. I've finally given up after hours of trying to work out a cheap route, go on the supporters club coaches!

It's a £56.50 day return, and it can be done via Lancaster and if you go to
www.eastcoast.co.uk/special-offers/3plus/ between 3 to 9 of you can get a THIRD off the fare.

Other routes you can look at on www.eastcoast.co.uk are London Euston - Birmingham New Street, till some £7.50's around, and Birmingham - Morecambe for £17.50, so £24.50 up there, various services.

Getting back is the problem; via Manchester Piccadilly makes it more expensive than the day return but have a go on the website if you want.

Of course various railcards will help, or go to www.eastcoast.co.uk/special-offers/3plus/ if there's between 3 to 9 of you can get a THIRD off the fare.

Honest, go on the coaches, your wallet will appreciate it!

Station to Stadium

Morecambe railway station is around a 25-30 minute walk away from the ground.

As you come out of the railway station turn left down Central Drive past Frankie and Benny's, a Morrisons superstore and a KFC outlet and you will reach the sea front.

Turn left along the promenade passing the Ranch House pub on your left and then take the 5th left into Regent Road. Proceed straight up Regent Road and continue along into Westgate. You will reach the stadium on your left hand side, just over the railway bridge.

From near the train station you can get a bus number 9 or 9A, from the bus stop located opposite Frankie & Benny's. This drops you right outside the stadium. Coming back there is a bus stop outside the ground, the bus then which goes into town along the sea front and then onto the railway station.

Station: Top right, the blue blob; Stadium: Bottom right, above Westgate.
