Let's hope the weather stays fair and we have no postponement this season, then again it is early October and on a Saturday always some decent fares around and one of those grounds very close to the station still.
Sadly we can't grab the excellent £22.50 day return on London Midland as the last train back on that fare is half-past four!

As already stated an excellent trip to make by the train, as you would expect of a team called the Railwaymen, with pubs, chip shops and stadium all within a stone's throw of each other.
As you come out of the Railway Station turn left and Gresty Road is down the road on your left. You will see the lights!
