Ricky Duncan's ever successful Under-18 side will play Charlton Athletic at their Sparrows Lane ground on Saturday, July 9th, kick-off 11am in their first pre-season game before the new 2011/12 Alliance League season starts next month.
The young Addicks are now managed by former Swindon boss Paul Hart who has been brought by the South london club as one of the best youth managers around.
Hart told www.cafc.co.uk: "Generally, the first game can be a bit hit and miss because everyone is so enthusiastic to get out and play football that sometimes the quality goes missing."
Good luck to the lads this coming campaign, and we are aware we are still short of a report or two from the one just finished.
