Swindon: Celebrations on Saturday

Swindon Town: Celebrations on Saturday

Crawley extended their lead at the top of League Two to four points with a 1-1 draw at Crewe, while Shrewsbury and Swindon both claimed wins.

Wes Fletcher gave Crewe the early lead at Gresty Road on Saturday but the home side had Shaun Miller sent off before Matt Tubbs earned the visitors a draw just after the half-hour.

With Southend and Cheltenham having played on Friday night, Shrewsbury moved to within two points of the automatic promotion places as Shane Cansdell-Sherriff scored the only goal against Macclesfield.

Swindon moved up to fourth as Jake Jervis, Raffaele De Vita and Ronan Murray scored in the 3-0 defeat of Morecambe.

Calvin Zola's goal saw Burton Albion draw 1-1 at home to bottom side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Micky Spillane had given Dagenham the lead before Zola struck. The visitors also had Abu Ogogo sent off late on.

Danny Kedwell scored two penalties as Gillingham boosted their promotion play-off hopes with a 4-1 home success against Bristol Rovers.

Lewis Montrose and Danny Jackman also scored for Gillingham with the visitors, who scored through Mustapha Carayol, also having Cian Bolger dismissed late in the game.

Oxford sit just outside the play-off spots after a 2-0 home win over Northampton with goals from Tom Craddock and Deane Smalley. Craddock and Town's Adebayo Akinfenwa both missed late penalties.

Sam Wood's goal earned Rotherham all three points at home to AFC Wimbledon to keep the south Yorkshire side on the fringe of the play-offs.

A Guy Madjo hat-trick and Sean Rigg's goal earned Port Vale a 4-0 home win over Aldershot, for whom Michael Rankine missed a penalty.

Bryan Hughes, Jayden Stockley and Kevin Long fired Accrington to a 3-1 win at home to Torquay, whose late consolation came from Chris McPhee.

Accrington's Luke Joyce and Torquay's Rene Howe were both sent off.

Plymouth Argyle remain in the bottom two after drawing 1-1 with Hereford as both sides finished with 10 men.

Tom Barkhuizen had given Hereford the lead before a Nick Chadwick penalty made it 1-1 at Home Park.

Hereford's Michael Townsend and Argyle's Darren Purse were both dismissed.
