While Tilly's problems at Lincoln, they are now in the relegation zone though with games in hand, have not been made any easier in the Cup having suffered a 4-3 reverse at home to Hereford in their delayed second round replay, the Bulls now going on to face Wycombe in the next stage.

Meanwhile, Tilly told BBC Lincolnshire: "We had enough chances to win and if you score three goals at home you should win the match. We've conceded four goals too many, but if you look at the back four we had to put out today we were probably going to have to score four or five to win. I couldn't fault the lads for effort and commitment, they've given everything but we've conceded too many poor goals today. I'm disappointed because I thought we had a fantastic chance of going through, especially the way the game was panning out but you can't concede four goals at home and look to get through."
