Creepies get turned down twice!

Constable: Not going to Sussex as well!
Blimey, this guys in demand, can't be for his good looks, but certainly his striking ability, which is very good indeed; however, for all their dosh, Crawley obviously couldn't match Swindon in their offer for striker James Constable, and he's staying at present club where he's been the top scorer for the last three seasons, again!
However, they've also had a big no for Hearts midfielder turned hitman Ryan Stevenson who would rather stay for now, but might make a move in the summer.
Evans told
www.crawleytownfc.com:
"I can confirm we have had offers turned down for both Ryan Stevenson and James Constable. We have spoken to Hearts and Oxford United respectively and we respect their right to turn down the offers we have made. We are some dstancce apart in what we have offered to what those clubs wanted so we will move on to alternative targets we have indentified."
As long as that's not Bilel Mohsni!
Would love to know what that cash difference between the O's and the creepies is, and surprising, especially as; a) they have loads of money, and b), they might be about to get a few bob for second top goal scorer from Championship Blackpool, or maybe several others who are interested according to the fat boy:

Though he is hoping now they might be able to keep the 12-goal striker.
On Thursday, Constable posted on twitter: 'This has been one of the toughest days I have had in my career, never wanted to leave the football club, it means everything to me.'
Luggy should be feeling a touch smug that he got his work in so early.
Southend United play Crawley Town at Roots Hall in front of the Sky cameras on Monday, March 5th, and Oxford United away on Saturday, April 28th.
We have no plans to play Hearts but a friendly in Edninburgh around the fringe would be nice.
